Cost and payment
Refunds:
Refunds are allowed 7 days before the workshop date.
What's included:
Photographic instruction.
Non-photographer companions:
You may bring a friend or spouse as long as they are not participating in the workshop.
Requirements and preparation
Skill level:
All skill levels are welcome, as I explain photography as an art, and my own workflows, which will be useful for those more seasoned photographers.
Physical condition:
You should be in "reasonably good physical condition" and comfortable walking for several miles while carrying your equipment.
Gear:
A digital camera DSLR or Mirrorless with a zoom lens is preferred.
Packing:
Extra layers and water for the weather.
What to expect during the workshop
Instruction: Workshops focus on instruction, such as creative compositions and camera settings, and may include post-processing and image reviews.
Pace: Pace varies by day, but we will be stopping frequently when we find compositions.
Location access: Parking permits such as NW Forest Pass or WA Discovery pass, may be required.
Personalization: Smaller group sizes allow for more individual attention.
